Vintage Hornsea Toffee and Mallow Egg Cups x3 70s 80s
Lovely design, reminiscent of Cornish Ware with Farmer and Scarecrow characters around. These were made exclusively for Mackintosh’s as a promotional item. Toffee and Mallow was a fondant filled egg much like the Creme Egg and was made from the 70s – 90s. These are stackable and made from ceramic. They are the same shape as other Hornsea egg cups.
Condition: Very Good to Good – there may be some minor surface wear and light scratching from use over the years. Vintage condition is not classed as faulty and some minor wear should be expected at least. Any noticeable issues above and beyond this are noted below. Please also note that vintage kitchen items may contain coatings or materials containing chemicals that may no longer be considered safe. Therefore these items are sold as decorative only and not for food use.
Noticeable issues: No chips or cracks, or grazing. All good.
Measurements: 1 1/2” tall and 1 3/4” diameter
