Vintage Ceramic Long Neck Siamese Cat Vase 1950s

Bring an irresistible pop of mid-century kitsch to your shelving display with this iconic vintage long-neck black cat vase. Featuring an elegantly elongated form and hand-painted retro silver accents, this authentic 1950s ceramic figurine acts as both a sculptural statement piece and a quirky bud vase. Please note: This item has a visible facial crack and has been priced accordingly. Perfect as a charming, affordable “rescue” piece for a collector who loves the character but is on a budget.

  • Style: Mid-Century Modern / Retro Kitsch.
  • Era: 1950s (Often imported from continental Europe or produced by British novelty potteries).
  • Material: Glazed ceramic earthenware.
  • Dimensions: 14.5″ tall x 4.5″ base depth x 3.5″ base width.
  • Condition: Fair vintage condition. The high-gloss black glaze remains exceptionally glossy and deep across the body, and the silver cold-paint details are crisp and clear. Please note that there is a structural hairline crack extending down the left side of the cat’s face and there are some paint splatters which I havent cleaned off for fear of damaging the original glaze (see close-up photos). The piece remains entirely solid, stable, and sturdy enough for careful handling and display, but it is not recommended to fill the base with water.
