Vintage Alligator Pencil Sharpener Mechanical Chomping Germany 60s 70s
Go ‘back to school’ with this classic from the 60s and 70s. This mechanical Alligator pencil sharpener with chomping action was made in Germany and is made from brightly coloured plastic. The pencil sharpener part is in the middle of the body and it can be prised apart to empty it. Very unusual and cute!
Condition: Very Good to Good – there may be some minor surface wear and light scratching from use over the years. Vintage condition is not classed as faulty and some minor wear should be expected at least. Any noticeable issues above and beyond this are noted below. Please also note that vintage kitchen items may contain coatings or materials containing chemicals that may no longer be considered safe. Therefore these items are sold as decorative only and not for food use.
Noticeable issues: Mostly good, in playworn condition. Some paint loss on the teeth and claws. Chomping action still works well.
