Vintage Helix Green Hedgehog Pencil Holder Desk Tidy 1980s
Go ‘back to school’ with this classic from the 1980s. The Helix hedgehog pencil holder was something most of us 80s kids remember. Totally impractical for school but looked great on your bedroom desk! The upright ‘prickles’ are where you insert your pens and pencils and the nose is a sharpener. Some of them had eraser tails but it appears to be missing in this case. However, it does have a very cool compartmentalised drawer in the base for keeping other trinkets like paperclips, pins and erasers. Made from plastic.
Condition: Very Good to Good – there may be some minor surface wear and light scratching from use over the years. Vintage condition is not classed as faulty and some minor wear should be expected at least. Any noticeable issues above and beyond this are noted below. Please also note that vintage kitchen items may contain coatings or materials containing chemicals that may no longer be considered safe. Therefore these items are sold as decorative only and not for food use.
Noticeable issues: Mostly good, the eraser tails is missing. There is a melted on mark inside one of the drawer compartments. See photos
